Auto-sync on cTrader
A cTrader trading journal that fills itself in, trade by trade.
The free Traders Vault cBot runs locally on cTrader and pushes every closed trade to your journal the moment it closes. No CSV exports, no manual entry on Pro — rare in a market where most journals ignore cTrader entirely.
Free tier: 2 accounts, no card required.
Why it matters
Why cTrader traders have been underserved
Most trading journals focus on MT4 and MT5 and treat cTrader as an afterthought. Traders Vault is built with a real cTrader cBot, so cTrader users get the same automatic journaling as everyone else.
A real cBot for cTrader
The Traders Vault cBot runs locally on your cTrader terminal and pushes every closed trade over HTTPS with a per-account API key. It is read-only: it never places orders or touches your automation.
Same journal, same analytics
Once your trades are in the vault, you get the same AI insights, weekly reports, tags, calendars and performance analytics as MT4 and MT5 users. One journal for every platform you trade.
CSV fallback included
If you trade on a platform without an EA or cBot, CSV import still gets your trades in. The journal is platform-first, so nothing is locked to a single terminal.
FAQ
Questions about cTrader journaling, answered.
How does a cTrader trading journal sync automatically?
Traders Vault syncs cTrader trades with a read-only cBot that runs locally on your terminal. You create an account, copy your per-account API key from the connectors panel, and attach the cBot to your cTrader workspace. The moment a trade closes, the cBot pushes the full trade data over HTTPS: entry, exit, lot size, P&L, commission, swap and timestamps. Setup takes about two minutes, and manual CSV import remains available for backfilling or for platforms that are not yet supported. Very few journals offer a real cTrader cBot, which is why cTrader traders are often stuck with manual spreadsheets. The journal never sees your broker password or login credentials; only your closed trades and the account nickname leave the terminal. Data is stored on Cloudflare, identity is handled by Auth0, billing by Stripe, and the AI that answers your insight questions runs on DeepSeek.
Is the cBot safe to run alongside my cTrader automation?
Yes. The Traders Vault cBot is read-only: it reads your closed-trade history and sends it to the journal, and it never places orders, changes charts, or touches your existing cBots or automation. Because the sync is read-only, the risk of interference is minimal, and the journal never sees your broker password. If you run several accounts, each gets its own API key, so trades land in the correct vault without cross-contamination. The cBot is a single .cs file with no external dependencies, and it follows the same design as our MT4 and MT5 Expert Advisors. Data is stored on Cloudflare, identity is handled by Auth0, billing by Stripe, and the AI that answers your insight questions runs on DeepSeek. On Pro, setup takes about two minutes: create your account, grab a per-account API key from the connectors panel, and drop the EA or cBot onto a chart.
Which cTrader brokers are supported?
Traders Vault works with any broker that runs cTrader. In our 2026 audit we checked 356 brokers and prop firms one by one against their own sites, and the brokers table on our home page shows exactly which platforms each one supports, with the evidence trail behind every entry. There is no per-broker integration code, so adding a new broker costs nothing on your side. If your broker is not listed, CSV import still gets your trades into the journal, and the Free tier covers two accounts so you can test manual entry and CSV import before upgrading to Pro for terminal auto-sync. The journal never sees your broker password or login credentials; only your closed trades and the account nickname leave the terminal. Data is stored on Cloudflare, identity is handled by Auth0, billing by Stripe, and the AI that answers your insight questions runs on DeepSeek.
